The Lexus CT 200h - Geneva bound
Last year we had the Lexus LF-Ch concept in all its goldness at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Then a few weeks back that became the Lexus CT 200h. Which is actually what we thought the Lexus Premium Compact would be called – the Lexus CT – when we first reported on the baby Lexus.
Twenty-five years ago, BMW delivered the first V12 7-series sedan. It used 5.0 liters of displacement to make a whopping 296 hp, which was powerful for its time. Now the marque from Bavaria introduced the 25th anniversary edition of that V12 sedan with more displacement and much more power.
With rain falling as the show cars arrived, organizers worried that moving the 15th-annual Ypsilanti Orphan Car Show from its original June weekend to late September wasn't going to work out after all. It was rescheduled last year after heavy rain in June and participants voted to make the change permanent. Fortunately, the rain blew over before the gates opened to spectators and Sunday turned out to be as nice a day as Saturday, when more than 30 entrants enjoyed a tour to view the extensive Nash collection that Ken and Mary Ann Havekost have accumulated in Monroe, Mich.
